How anxious do you get?

Do you ever have a day or two throughout your week when everything speeds up? Heartbeat increases, breath grows shallow, and thoughts race to an imaginary finishline that continuously pulls away?
Yup… I deal with that at least once a week. I generally keep it aimed and dealt with in a reasonable capacity. However, the beast reels its obnoxious face above the surface at times and I try my absolute best to stay calm.
I wrote a song about this feeling, this mental illness. It’s always manageable. It will always be okay. Get help, medicine, therapy, whatever it takes.
